Play Structure
“Play structure is a methodology of game design based on behavioral psychology. It includes as fundamental elements the design goal, a set of challenges according to the skill of the player, a system of progression, short, medium and long term objectives and a system of rewards. It does not include the narrative of the game, but if it is present it produces a greater engagement.”
